About Head4Help
Head4Help has been developed us here at Datasmith over the last 5 years. We have over 20 years experience working with 'Not For Profit' organisations as well as Governmental and Corporate customers around the world.
Datasmith originally designed an online counsellig system to be used in our GamAID site which provides online help to gamblers and their families. We have since taken the underlying counselling software, improved it and created Head4Help an online service that provides advisors with a secure platform to reach their clients.For example; Ann Jones a freelance counsellor provides counselling services to clients around the UK via AJTherapy.co.uk.
We believe that Head4Help is an excellent, easy to use gateway for those seeking help with a variety of issues. Head4help can be used in many diverse fields from legal counselling and human resources to charity work and access-to-government.
We have worked hard to provide a secure and confidential environment for the Advisor and Client. We use encryption to thwart network ‘snoopers’ and the conversations are never stored on any computer (neither ours nor your client’s) but advisors can choose to keep notes of sessions if they so wish. We can facilitate both One to One and Group advice sessions and we also have a Kiosk product that allows access to services from within hard to reach places.

A study by Nottingham Trent (see Here) that evaluated the efficacy of the GamAID online counselling system concluded the following:

- “The service is perceived as having a high degree of confidentiality, and favoured by those who are not comfortable talking on the phone or face-to-face”
